Yonanas!

So I was one of the lucky recipients to win a Yonanas frozen dessert maker in December during Dr. Oz giveaway.  I'll admit, I was a little skeptical. It sounded wonderful but I hate appliances that are difficult to operate or hard to clean. I am happy to say that Yonanas was neither of those!
We decided to make the orange whip and the strawberry flavors, so we prepared our fruit the night before so it would be good and frozen when we made it.  My only regret is not getting more fruit! The directions were extremely simple and so was the entire process.  We let our fruit sit for 10 minutes upon removing it from the freezer, then just put the fruit in according to the directions. So very easy.
The end result was a delicious, creamy, and most importantly...healthy treat! It was hard to believe it was just from using fruit, because the consistency was that of soft serve ice cream/frozen yogurt. Both my boys loved it, and we are really excited to try more recipes.

Now. Cleaning....it was easy!! It came apart very easily, and getting it back together was so simple!! The parts are dishwasher safe, but I don't have a dishwasher (unless you count Aaron lol) so they were washed by hand.  I love this product and am so very glad that I was lucky enough to win one!! One of my goals for my family this year is to start eating healthier. We love ice cream, so this was a great win!! We can have the ice cream taste and consistency, and not all the sugar and junk!
